In an effort to stand out from YouTube, Grouper, Vimeo and Blip, Break is saying that it will pay a $400 payment to any video that makes it to the homepage. At least that's what appears to be the determining factor for payment.
Animated shorts will be paid up to $2K. They claim to have paid out $300K to date.
While this won't be something most vidcasters/vloggers are interested in, the next person to stumble upon great viral video (think the Tripod video below) might appreciate the $400 smackers for nothing more than uploading.
