SodaHead, a grownup social networking site has taken $4.25M in VC from several sources, including Tech Coast Angels ($450K). The round was led by Mohr Davidow Ventures.
The site, billed as a MySpace-ish site that allows for meaningful discourse for adults, is run by Jason Feffer. Feffer is the former VP of Operations for MySpace.

Sources in Silicon Valley say that this social network is targeting grown ups who want to have grown up conversations about like price of natural gas or war in Iraq. The buzzword is - social wisdom.
I wonder if we really still see a need for another social site with a still very broad niche?
