Facebook Network Analysis targets people who a number of my friends know

I noticed a new feature of Facebook today that goes after friends of my friends and asks me if I want to befriend (request friendship) from those individuals.  I find that interesting because it means Social Networks are becoming more intelligent.

I chose several out of the 29 to be friends - and it throws in other profiles when I go back into "People You May Know" module:

As Social Networks evolve we'll continue to see more stuff like this.
