According to TechCrunch a Google/Skype Acquisition or Partnership might be Imminent.
"..Actually, for weeks now there have been low level rumors of the two companies talking, but nailing down any details was difficult. New information, however, suggests that they are in current talks and that a partnership or outright acquisition may be announced in the near future."
Well, I understand Amazon isn't that happy with the way Skype performed for them and maybe Google can do something better with Skype (IE: put Google Checkout in it - or link it up to Google Documents and Gmail).
My sense it an acquisition would help Google's Mobile Android and OpenSocial initiatives and makes sense - but we need to know more details of the deal and get a statement on how Google would use Skype.
