Just noticed that polling has come to Twitter and PollDaddy launched a new service called PollDaddy Twitter Polls that lets you set-up an online poll and send out a tweet that informs your followers about the new poll according to Bloggers Blog
"...The polls are easy to use. The poll includes a description of the Twitterer who posted the poll. There is also a comment form where people can comment or maybe add a write-in suggestion. There are quite a few people testing PollDaddy's new Twitter tool out on Twitter today. As with any service if it is overused it could become annoying."

Also noted today that Ads may be sold soon on Twitter - which might dampen the enthusiasm Twitter has had over the last year or so it's existed among followers - and honestly, while Ads and Polls are good features, I think the reason why people use Twitter are not for these things - but as a form on instant and personal communication.
