Today's Net Oddity - Geolocator For Your Next Cross Country Hitchhike
Hold on to your hats, these guys are hitchhiking across the country (yawn) and they're doing it with a live mapping site (ok, maybe that's cool).

Scotty and Fiddy are hitchhiking to all the state capitals (there's 50 for all of you who failed geography) and they're doing it in 50 days, being tracked via GPS.  You can follow their hitchhike at the site, Hike50.

Why is this cool?  Well, geeks love GPS and mapping, so this thing is *sure* to get Dugg.  Now, if this is a Hoodia site in 6 months, we'll know they were just gaming Digg
However it ends, it's a cool idea and one I'll be watching.

Lazy Like MySpace
